Federal Government

Pyrologix was founded to serve the United States Forest Service. Over the years we have worked with the Rocky Mountain Research Station’s Human Dimensions Program, the Missoula Fire Science Laboratory, the Washington Office Division of Fire and Aviation Management, the AMSET and TEAMS Enterprise Units, and a dozen National Forests across the western United States.

Working with our partners, our roster of federal government clients now includes the Federal Emergency Management Agency, in the Department of Homeland Security; the United States Marine Corps, in the Department of Defense; and the National Park Service, in the Department of the Interior.

We have also worked for federal interagency programs such as the LANDFIRE Project, the National Advanced Fire and Resource Institute (NAFRI), the National Interagency Fuel Technology Transfer (NIFTT) Team, and the Albuquerque Fire-use Training Academy (FUTA)

State Government

Pyrologix has worked on projects for the Texas Forest Service, CAL FIRE (formerly the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection), and collectively for 17 western states as a consultant on the Western Wildfire Risk Assessment.

Local Government

Pyrologix has done work for local governments, including the County of San Diego and the Mariposa County Resource Conservation District.

Private Entities

Pyrologix has worked in projects for a variety of private businesses, including power companies, natural resource management consulting firms, law firms, insurance companies, and nonprofits.
